LTE Card data is Available on The Market in 2011
One of the obstacles to roll out LTE network technology is the limited support for devices like the data card (Dongle). But, most likely devices supporting LTE technology will be widespread in the market in mid-2011.
End of this year LTE chipsets, and many vendors who will make the devices supporting LTE, particularly data cards, these products generally appear after six to seven months since we launched the chipset that will be used vendors. Qualcomm currently has three chipsets that support the technologies LTE, namely MDM9200, MDM and MSM 8960 9600.
LTE is considered as the last cycle development of mobile data technology with IEEE 802.20 standards as well as advanced broadband technology that can be used for mobile data application services with a faster response time with peak download data speeds reached 173 mega bits per second (Mbps).
Devices that will support LTE are the first time most of the Data Card and not the handset like a mobile handset. Because most LTE technology is more widely used for application weight and of course most such applications are the applications for laptop . But in Indonesia has not determined where the frequency bands that will be used, and how much is needed.
